Bucks and does everywhere are applauding the efforts of the Le Sueur Police Department.
At 5:45 a.m. on Nov. 8 an officer advised a hunter about hunting on property on which there have been issues in the past.
Police hoofed it to a number of other calls that same week.
Nov. 4
• Police were dispatched to Morningside Drive at 12:10 a.m. for a vehicle accident resulting in property damage.
• At 1:53 a.m. an officer was dispatched to Todd St. for a report of a suspicious male.
• An officer responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 93 at 7:05 a.m. A citation was issued for failure to use due care.
• An officer was dispatched to Highway 169 at 7:40 a.m. for a report of a vehicle which had spun out on ice.
• Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic on Second St. at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 5
• An officer was dispatched to the high school at 9:45 a.m. for a report of graffiti.
• A citation was issued at 10 a.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A citation was issued in the area of Ferry and Main St. at 2:30 p.m. for no muffler.
• At 2:40 p.m. a citation was issued on Ferry St. for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Commerce St. at 3:11 p.m.
Nov. 6
• At 1:27 p.m. the department assisted Le Sueur County law enforcement in assisting a motorist with a disabled vehicle on County Road 36.
• An officer assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle in the area of Highway 169 and Highway 93 at 6:35 p.m.
• An officer issued a possession tag at 7:14 p.m. for a deer killed by a car on Myrick St.
• A speeding citation was issued on Kingsway Drive at 7:36 p.m.
• Police served a restraining order for the courts on Third St. at 8:53 p.m.
• The department assisted the state patrol with a property damage accident on Highway 169 at 9:09 p.m.
Nov. 7
• A speeding citation was issued on Highway 169 at 12:27 a.m.
• An officer was dispatched to a possible fight at 1 a.m.
• A male party was arrested at the softball field parking lot at 2:30 a.m. for DWI.
• A citation was issued at the city sewer ponds at 8 a.m. for trespassing on city property.
• An officer picked up a stray dog on Ferry St. at 9:18 a.m.
• A speeding citation was issued on Highway 169 at 1:10 p.m.
• A citation was issued on Third St. at 1:35 p.m. for driving with a revoked license.
• An officer was dispatched to Highway 169 at 2:41 p.m. for a driving complaint.
• Police were dispatched to a verbal dispute on Todd Court at 4:57 p.m.
• A male party was arrested in the area of Highway 169 and Highway 93 at 6:37 p.m. for DWI.
Nov. 8
• At 8:30 a.m. an officer took a report of a two-vehicle accident on Swan St.
• Police investigated a suspicious material in a driveway on Morningside Drive at 10:57 a.m.
• The department assisted the state patrol with a personal injury accident in the area of Highway 169 and Doppy Lane at 7:36 p.m.
