LE SUEUR – A Main St. home owner was left in the dark on July 14 when it was discovered someone had stolen solar lights from a yard. The Le Sueur Police Department is looking for clues as to watt may have happened.
The department lit out on a number of other calls that week.
July 13
• Police received a report of an abandoned bicycle at Valleygreen Square at 11:06 a.m.
• Barking dog complaint were received from Main St. and Third St.
July 14
• Police responded to a stray dog complaint on Park Lane at 3:27 p.m.
• A property owner on Park Lane was notified of a grass complaint.
• An officer was dispatched to the area of U.S. Highway 169 and State Highway 93 at 4:54 p.m. for a report of a hitchhiker.
• Police responded to an alarm at a business.
• Police were advised of an open door at a vacant house at 9:22 p.m. The door was secured and the owner notified.
July 15
• An officer took a report of a parking complaint on Market St. at 2:08 p.m.
• A citation was issued on Ferry St. at 3:59 p.m. for a stop sign violation.
• Police were dispatched to Third St. at 4:01 p.m. for an animal complaint.
July 16
• At 10:01 a.m. police were notified a mailbox on Fourth St. had been knocked over.
• An officer took a report of graffiti vandalism in the area of Second and Elm St. at 1:41 p.m.
• Another vandalism report on Second St. was received at 3:29 p.m
• An officer took a report of a runaway juvenile. The subject was later located and found to be okay.
• At 10:35 p.m. the department was informed of suspicious activity on Ferry St.
• A wallet was found on Highway 169. The wallet’s owner was notified.
July 17
• Police were informed of an unwanted party at a Second St. residence at 12 a.m.
• An officer was dispatched to Lynn St. at 12:40 a.m. for a fireworks complaint.
• A citation was issued in the mall parking lot at 1:37 a.m. for overtime parking.
• At 8:10 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a residence on Second St. for an unwanted party. The subject was gone when the officer arrived.
• Police took a report of a vehicle break-in on Fourth St. at 10:57 a.m.
• An officer responded to a report at 3:02 p.m. of an individual stuck in an elevator on Plum Run. The person got out and was okay.
July 18
• At 12:30 a.m. an officer located a vehicle on Second St. with the alarm sounding. The vehicle’s owner was notified.
• Police took a report of vandalism on Main St. at 9:39 a.m.
• A report of graffiti vandalism on Second St. was reported at 10:51 a.m.
• A speeding citation was issued in the area of Commerce and Division St. at 2:28 p.m.
• Police were dispatched to a fire alarm at an apartment building on Risedorph St. at 4:28 p.m. and again at 5:45 p.m. It was a false alarm on both occasions.
• A citation was issued in the area of Highway 169 and State Highway 112 at 8:31 p.m. for underage consumption. |
